So Kayleen and I are just hanging out at her apartment and I get a text from Brett saying "We're going to Pirates at 4:25". Well, I didn't know who 'we' was, I got the text at about 3:50, and I was also in my swimsuit. Pretty much Kayleen and I hauled ass back to my apt. so I could change after she did and we hauled more ass to get to the Grand where we met Brett, Evan, Tim, and their friend Mike to see Pirates 2. We ended up not even getting into that show, so we went to some bar and restaurant and had a drink, and went to the 5:30 show instead. I ended up next to Evan, with whom I spent roughly half the movie fighting for the arm rest between our chairs. Good times. He has this whole "your side/my side" thing, and the arm rest didn't solve the problem well enough. Ah well.
I liked this one, but of course not as well as the first. This was basically just setting up for the finale, which I am looking forward to. Sadly, seeing as how Jack Sparrow was swallowed by the squid thing, at least half that movie is just going to revolve around getting him back, which means we're not going to see a whole lot of him. Sad. I enjoy Johnny Depp. A lot. Pirate get-up and all. Maybe moreso...yum.
Anyway.
That's about all. I am still enjoying my whole 'being me' thing again, which is a plus. The crying and the being depressed was just not getting me anywhere and regardless of the fact that it took someone who doesn't even know me that well to basically snap me out of it, I am better off. He didn't so much comment on the crying and being depressed, since that wasn't the focus of our conversation, but it was more that he was like, so you're pretty much going to let guys be mean to you and not do anything about it. So I decided, Eff that noise, no I'm not. I'm not going to cut guys out of my life by any means, I am simply going to enjoy being single - something I already started enjoying last weekend.
In other news, there pretty much is no other news. Pirates was the highlight, since I work tomorrow, blah. I work Sunday-Thursday, which sucks hard core, but it's money, so I just keep telling myself that. Money, Money, Money.
